Quercus pledges to tackle three peaks for charity

In an effort to raise funds for Katharine House Hospice, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Mind, Tom’s Trust, and Marie Curie charities, Quercus is embarking on its biggest challenge yet. These causes are very close to our heart, and we hope you’ll consider sponsoring us. Remember, any amount can make a difference.

Wayne and Faye Johnson, Andrew Lazenby, Stuart Wait, Julie and Martin Hunt, and Dan Clarke all signed up for ‘The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge’ in January this year. That means tackling Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres), and Ingleborough (723 metres) in under twelve hours! This is a huge challenge given the rough terrain and strict time limit, but we think we’ve got what it takes!

You can follow our progress on our Facebook page. That includes our training and the event itself, which takes place on September 9th. And you can sponsor us on our givewheel page. Again, please consider giving generously – the charities we’re fundraising for make a real difference in peoples’ lives, and we want to help ensure they can continue their good work in the future.

Thank you from all of us!
